Boat Game is Supercell’s next experiment currently entering its second alpha stage

Boat Game: A Chaotic Island Adventure Awaits

This is a wild island experience where you can easily vanish in the blink of an eye.

Choose to play alone or team up with others—just remember, trust is a fragile thing here.

Expect a blend of player versus player combat, player versus environment action, and deep exploration.

Supercell is back with another mystery project—and this one comes with boats, creatures from the deep, and the constant risk of betrayal. The studio has just launched the Google Play page for Boat Game, a chaotic island adventure first spotted back in February before vanishing into the shadows of early reveals. Now it's returned with an Alpha 2 build, a fresh visual style, and plenty of unanswered questions.

Boat Game throws you onto the shores of the Triangle, a deceptively peaceful tropical island packed with palm trees, ancient ruins, and the ever-present danger of sudden vaporisation. You’re free to explore solo or join forces with others, though the official description urges caution—don’t trust anyone. And honestly, that advice might be the only solid one in this world.

Based on what Supercell has hinted so far, Boat Game combines exploration, PvE loot runs, and optional PvP chaos—all wrapped in that signature chaotic, sandbox-style energy. Take a sip of a Baddie Fizz and you go rogue, attack other players, and collect bounties on your head. Or simply sail the waters gathering Brain Bits to upgrade your Brain Tree—because why not go full absurd?

Alpha 2 brings freeform quests, new weapons and boats, smoother performance, and mysterious portals that randomly appear across the map—because on a suspicious island, predictability is the last thing you need. There's also a Party Pass, cosmetic items, and a host of quirky details that make this feel like Supercell’s most unhinged concept yet (and that’s saying something).

Boat Game launched just days after Supercell announced the end of Squad Busters, its short-lived hero brawler that never quite found its rhythm in the live-service space. But with Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and Brawl Stars still thriving, it’s hard to argue against their instincts.

Boat Game is still in early testing, and a full release could be months away. But if you’re drawn to chaotic, soft-launch experiments, don’t miss our list of the best soft-launch games on mobile.
