Speaking at the West Lake Art Forum at the China Academy of Art, Yang revealed that an impressive 30% of the game’s player base hails from outside China—a figure that reportedly surprised the development team. Launched in 2024, the game has achieved strong sales and high review scores on platforms like Steam and Metacritic. It also clinched the Players’ Voice Award at The Game Awards, cementing its status as a standout title regardless of its origin.
