Balatro, developed by LocalThunk and published by Playstack, is set to launch on mobile later this month across iOS, Android, and Apple Arcade. While it will be a premium release on iOS and Android, the game will also be available as a "plus" version on Apple Arcade from day one. Inspired by Poker, this roguelike title has already sold over two million copies on PS5, Switch, Steam, PS4, and Xbox in under six months. I'm excited to see its performance on mobile, especially with upcoming plans including a major free update in 2025 that will introduce fresh ideas and strategies. Priced at $9.99 on mobile, Balatro is slated for release on September 26th. Check out the mobile announcement trailer below:
