Sony has announced the exciting lineup of games joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, catering to a wide range of gaming enthusiasts. The detailed list was shared in a recent PlayStation.Blog post, featuring a selection of six new titles for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, set to be available starting May 20.
Subscribers to the Extra tier will have access to an impressive total of nine new games. Leading the pack is "Sand Land," an action RPG inspired by the iconic manga by Akira Toriyama, available on both PS4 and PS5.
Additional highlights include "Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition" and the comprehensive "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy." Notably, an enhanced version of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy was announced today for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, with a release date of May 20. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on consoles will receive the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost, though it remains uncertain if this applies to PlayStation Plus subscribers.For PlayStation Plus Premium members, the catalog is enhanced with the classic title "Battle Engine Aquila," a sci-fi action game playable on both PS4 and PS5. Players will take control of a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies in aerial and ground combat.
