The objective in Hearts is to finish the game with the lowest score. You must follow suit by playing a card of the same suit as the leading card, like Clubs. If you cannot follow suit, you may play any card except Hearts or the Queen of Spades on the first trick. The player who lays down the highest card of the leading suit "takes the trick" and leads the next one. Each Heart in the trick costs 1 point, and the Queen of Spades costs 13 points. However, if one player collects all the Hearts and the Queen of Spades (known as Shooting the Moon), that player scores zero while all others receive 26 points! The game concludes once any player reaches 100 points or more.
