Enjoy playing Euchre today!
Join countless passionate Euchre enthusiasts. Experience the ultimate card game: Euchre! It's easy to learn, quick to play, and delivers guaranteed entertainment!
Euchre uses a deck of 24 standard playing cards and is played by two teams of two players each.
When a player names a suit as trump, they commit their team to winning most tricks in that hand. The team earns one point for taking three or four tricks, and two points for winning all five. Failing to win three tricks is called being "euchred," and the opposing team receives two points.
A caller holding a very strong hand may choose to "go alone." In this situation, the caller attempts to win all tricks without their partner's help. If successful, the team earns four points. If the caller wins only three or four tricks, the team scores one point. If euchred while going alone, the opposing team still gets two points.
The key rule in Euchre is that you are never forced to play a trump card (unless trump is led), but you must follow suit whenever possible.
