Donkey King: The premier online multiplayer edition of a classic casual card game.
Donkey King: The Ultimate Donkey Card Game (Online Multiplayer)
Experience the childhood favorite master card game "Donkey" in an exciting online multiplayer format. A variant of the classic cash card game.
****** Objective******
The goal is to be the first to discard all your cards.
****** Game Play******
The rules are simple: players race to empty their hands. The last player holding cards is declared the "donkey."
Using a standard 52-card deck (no jokers), cards are dealt entirely to the players. The objective is to shed all your cards. The final player with cards loses and earns the title of "donkey"—the sole loser, while all others win.
The player holding the Ace of Spades begins the game by playing it. Play continues clockwise. Each player must follow the lead suit if able, playing any card of that suit.
When all players successfully follow suit, the round ends. All cards played are discarded. The player who placed the highest card of the lead suit gains the lead and may play any card to start the next round.
If a player cannot follow suit, they may play any card from their hand. Play halts immediately. The player who played the highest card of the original lead suit must collect all cards from the round (the lead suit cards plus the off-suit card) and add them to their hand. This player then takes the lead, starting the next round with any card.
Play continues in this fashion until only one player remains with cards. That player is the donkey and loses the game. All other players are victorious.
