Game Rules
This popular Indian card game is played by four people with a standard 52-card deck. The game consists of
5 rounds, with Spades always as trump. The dealer gives
13 cards to each player. At the start, players bid on how many tricks they
will win. The Callbreak multiplayer game is about winning the most tricks while also
breaking other players' bids. This is known as call breaking.

Deal & Bidding
Players are each dealt 13 cards, starting to the left of the dealer. The first dealer in Call
Break is chosen randomly, after which the deal rotates clockwise from that
first dealer.
Scoring
In Call Break, each player bids a number of tricks from 1 to 13, starting from the
left of the dealer. Players must meet this goal to earn a positive score.
Play
A player earns points equal to their bid for achieving that many tricks. Any additional
tricks are worth 0.1 points each. If a player wins fewer tricks than their bid, they lose as
many points as they bid.
A full game consists of five rounds or deals. After the fifth round, a winner
is declared—the player with the highest total points wins the game.
