This is a small collection of two strategy-based board games, both very popular in rural Bangladesh.
3 Beads (৩ গুটি): Played between two players, this game is similar to Tic-Tac-Toe. Instead of starting with a blank board, each player begins with three pieces. Players take turns dragging one of their beads to an available, valid position. The first player to line up all three of their beads horizontally, vertically, or diagonally (excluding the starting positions) wins.
16 Beads (১৬ গুটি): Another two-player game, this one is similar to Checkers. Each player starts with 16 beads. A move consists of sliding one bead one step to a connected, valid space. You can capture an opponent's bead by jumping over it to a valid space. Consecutive captures in a single turn are allowed. The player who captures all 16 of their opponent's beads wins.
