How Bullseye Works in Marvel Snap
Bullseye is a 3-cost, 3-power card with the ability: “Activate: Discard all cards that cost 1 or less from your hand. Afflict that many different enemy cards with -2 Power.”
This card is a prime target for countering with Luke Cage, especially in discard-style decks. When played on turn 5 or earlier, Bullseye can discard any 1 or 0-cost cards in your hand, including those discounted by effects like Swarm. He synergizes well with X-23 and Hawkeye Kate Bishop.
However, like all Activate cards, Bullseye is less effective on the final turn due to his 3-cost nature. The key to his ability is that he afflicts “different enemy cards,” preventing multiple debuffs on the same card. At his best, Bullseye can apply a -2 power debuff across multiple opponent cards, potentially securing a win by affecting several cards in a single lane.
Best Day One Bullseye Decks in Marvel Snap
Bullseye is most effective in discard decks rather than standalone lists with Swarm and Daken. A recommended discard deck with a Bullseye twist includes:
- Scorn
- X-23
- Blade
- Morbius
- Hawkeye Kate Bishop
- Swarm
- Colleen Wing
- Bullseye
- Dracula
- Proxima Midnight
- MODOK
- Apocalypse

This deck features Series 5 cards like Scorn, Hawkeye Kate Bishop, and Proxima Midnight. While Scorn and Proxima Midnight are essential, Hawkeye Kate Bishop can be substituted with Gambit. The strategy involves playing MODOK on turn 5, activating Bullseye to debuff the opponent's board, and using regenerated Swarms to set up a win with Dracula and Apocalypse.
For a different approach, you might consider a Hazmat Ajax deck, though it's less consistent and more expensive:
- Silver Sable
- Nebula
- Hydra Bob
- Hazmat
- Hawkeye Kate Bishop
- US Agent
- Luke Cage
- Bullseye
- Rocket Raccoon and Groot
- Anti-Venom
- Man-Thing
- Ajax

This deck is costly, with multiple Series 5 cards. While Hydra Bob can be replaced with regular Rocket Raccoon, the other Series 5 cards are crucial. Bullseye complements Hazmat by debuffing multiple cards, which can enhance Ajax’s impact, potentially winning a lane single-handedly.
Is Bullseye Worth Spotlight Cache Keys or Collector’s Tokens?
If you're not into discard or affliction decks, Bullseye might not be worth your resources, especially if you're eyeing cards like Moonstone and Aries. For fans of these deck types, however, Bullseye can be a valuable addition.
