The Last of Us Complete includes both main storylines as well as additional content released over the years. This encompasses the Ellie-focused prequel DLC, Left Behind, and The Last of Us Part 2’s No Return and Lost Levels content. For those who have enjoyed the HBO TV series featuring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, this digital bundle is priced at $99.99, offering an opportunity to explore the games that inspired the show.

In a PlayStation.Blog post, Naughty Dog Head of Studio Neil Druckmann shared details about the physical The Last of Us Complete Collector’s Edition, which is now available for pre-order. In addition to the game discs, this edition includes a Steelbook case, The Last of Us: American Dreams comics 1 – 4, four lithographic art prints, and a heartfelt thank-you letter from Druckmann.

Druckmann expressed gratitude to the fans, stating, "From our entire studio, thank you so much for your incredible support for The Last of Us and Naughty Dog over the years. This is such an exciting moment for both the franchise and our teams. We are so humbled by your personal stories of what the series has meant to you, have marveled at your incredible Photo Mode shots, and inspired to keep pushing ourselves forward to create more stories and worlds you’ll love."

Originally launched for the PS3 in 2013, The Last of Us has been a beloved title in the PlayStation catalog, despite criticism regarding its numerous re-releases and remasters. The adventure of Joel and Ellie was enhanced for the PS4 in 2014, reimagined for the PS5 in 2022, and continued with The Last of Us Part 2 in 2020, which received its own remaster in early 2024. Both games have also made their way to PC, with The Last of Us Part 1 arriving in 2023 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered just last week.

The Last of Us Complete consolidates all of Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic offerings into one package, marking yet another re-release. This move aligns with the premiere of HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2, set to air its first episode this Sunday, and the recent greenlighting of Season 3.
