Two exciting Pokémon from the Galar region are making their debut in Pokémon Go this month, bringing both sweetness and fiery power to the game. The Sweet Discoveries event, running from April 24th to 29th, introduces the adorable Dragon/Grass-type Applin. To evolve Applin, you'll need 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Use Tart Apples to evolve into Flapple, or Sweet Apples for Appletun. These apples can be found in the wild, particularly around areas with Mossy Lures, and may also trigger Applin encounters.
During the Sweet Discoveries event, you'll encounter wild Pokémon such as Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. Field Research and Eggs will offer opportunities to catch themed Pokémon like Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research, available in both free and paid versions, provides Sweet and Tart Apples. The paid version also offers extra Mossy Lure Modules and additional encounters, including Applin.
Don't miss out on the Applin Headband and Apron available in the shop, and keep an eye on PokéStop Showcases featuring themed Pokémon. For those who crave more power, the Max Battle Weekend on April 26th-27th marks the debut of Dynamax Entei. There's even a chance to encounter a Shiny Entei during this event.
Prepare for these events with these Pokémon Go codes to enhance your experience!
Several bonuses will be active during both events, including an increased Max Particle cap, reduced adventuring distance to collect them, and boosted Power Spot refresh rates. You'll earn eight times more Max Particles from each Power Spot you visit. Leading up to the Max Battle Weekend, free Timed Research starts on April 21st, rewarding you with a Dynamax Sobble to help counter Entei's fiery attacks.
Get ready for both events by stocking up on supplies at the Pokémon Go Web Store.
