Mindi is an engaging, team-based trick-taking card game that's absolutely FREE to play online! This popular game, known for its blend of fun and strategic depth, is also referred to as MindiKot, Mendhi Coat, Mindi Multiplayer, and Dehla Pakad (which translates to "Collect the tens"). The core objective is to win tricks that contain tens, making it an exciting challenge for players.
Designed for four players forming two partnerships sitting opposite each other, Mindi uses a standard 52-card deck. The player who draws the highest card becomes the first dealer, shuffling and dealing 13 cards to each player. The game offers two exciting modes to choose from for unlimited fun:
- Hide Mode: The player to the dealer’s right selects a card, placing it face down on the table. This card declares the trump suit for that round.
- Cut Mode: If no trump suit is chosen at the start, play begins as usual. When a player cannot follow suit, the card they choose becomes the trump for the deal.
In both modes, the highest card of the trump suit played to a trick wins it. If no trump card is played, the highest card of the suit led wins the trick. The winner of each trick leads the next, and captured tricks are kept in a face-down pile by the winner. A partnership that captures three or four of the Tens wins the hand, and capturing all four Tens is known as Mendicot.
