- This is the first installment of the Essence series, a classic turn-based JRPG.
- You play as an adventurer who, after hearing strange rumors about the kingdom, gets imprisoned while investigating and is forced to clear the dungeon.
※ Game Tips
1. The goddess can enhance your parameters, return you to the dungeon, and handle saving.
2. Initially, it's wise to equip a Great Sword, which can attack all enemies.
3. A useful item found in the Wild's snake habitat allows you to avoid encounters.
4. If a floor seems too tough, try descending to the next level to find better gear.
5. Losing a battle will cost you half of your current gold.
6. Evasion rate is calculated from the Agility difference when a battle starts.
7. All status ailments are cured at the end of a battle.
8. Weapon-based special attacks ignore the target's Defense.
9. The maximum amount of gold you can carry is 999G.
10. Be sure to check bookshelves for important clues.
