[Game Title: Stop Fear – Version 1.2.8]
Scene: The Basement – Dim, flickering lantern light. Damp stone walls. Chains rattle faintly in the dark. Olivia stirs, dazed, her head throbbing. She’s bound to a rusted iron chair, wrists and ankles secured with thick rope. The air smells of mildew, iron, and something… older.

Olivia (whispering, trembling):
"Father Lucas… William… Isabela… Where are you? I remember the tea… the smile… the poison… I can’t be alone here."

She blinks, forcing her eyes open. A single word flickers in her mind—ritual. The exorcist’s notes, tucked inside her pocket, had described the final rite: “To break the curse, the light must be kindled in the heart of darkness, and truth spoken beneath the weeping moon.”

She looks around. A broken candle holder lies near her foot. A rusted key dangles from a nail. A mural on the far wall depicts a family—Sebastian, Isabela, William, and a priest—surrounded by symbols: a serpent coiled around a cross, a cracked mirror, and a moon with one eye.

Then—a sound.
A choked sob.
From behind a stone partition.

Father Lucas (weak, strained):
"Olivia…? Is that… you?"

She turns, heart pounding.

Olivia (urgent):
"Father! I’m here! Can you hear me? I’ll get you out."

She tugs at the ropes. They’re tight—old, hardened fibers. But the key… it fits a lock on her chair.

She fumbles, presses the key into the lock. Click.
The bindings release.

She stumbles forward, pulling her father’s old leather satchel from her back—the one he carried into the house. Inside: a silver crucifix, a vial of holy water, a journal, and a folded parchment with riddles.

Journal Entry (Father Lucas, scrawled):
"The house remembers. The truth is hidden in the silence between screams. Seek the mirror that sees no face, and the door that opens only when you weep."

Olivia (to herself):
"A mirror that sees no face… and a door that opens when you weep?"

She turns. Behind the partition, a cracked mirror lies on the floor—its glass fogged, showing only shadows.

She kneels. Touches the glass.

Suddenly—a whisper, not from the air, but from inside her mind:

Sebastian (distorted, childlike):
"You’re not real… You’re just another lie… like the tea… like the love…"

She flinches. The vial of holy water trembles in her hand.

Olivia (firm, trembling):
"I am real. And I’m not leaving until I save you, Sebastian. Until I save all of us."

She touches the mirror again—this time, not with fear, but with resolve.

The glass cracks. Not outward—but inward. A sound like weeping.

And then—a door opens behind her. A heavy wooden door, hidden in the wall, creaks open.

Beyond it: a narrow corridor. A single oil lamp flickers at the far end.

The riddle was not a test of strength.
It was a test of grief.

Olivia (whispers):
"I remember… I remember Isabela’s smile… too wide. William’s silence… too long. And Sebastian… he never laughed. Not once."

She closes her eyes.

And for the first time since she woke—she weeps.

The door swings wide.

[NEW SCENE: The Study – Moonlight through a broken window. A desk. A locked box. A portrait of Sebastian, eyes missing.]

Riddle on the wall (etched in old ink):
"To summon the light, you must name what was stolen, not from the body—but from the soul."

Olivia takes a breath.

She knows.

The ritual isn’t just about words or fire.

It’s about truth.

And now, she must face the final question:

“What did they lose… when they stopped believing in love?”

She reaches for the box.
The key is inside.

She whispers:

"They lost Sebastian."

The box opens.

A cold wind howls.

And from the house’s depths—a scream. Not of fear.
Of release.

[MISSION: RESCUE THE LAST FRIENDS – SAVE THE RITUAL – BREAK THE CURSE]
Olivia stands. The crucifix glows faintly in her hand. The house is no longer silent.
It is listening.
And so is she.

🟥 Next Objective: Find William in the attic. The mirror there shows his face… but not his eyes.
🟥 Clue: "He never saw the fear in his son’s eyes. He only saw the priest’s shadow."
🟥 Hint: Look behind the clock. It’s stopped at 3:17—the time the tea was served.
